Ok a little Homer Simpson lyrics for you, but OMG!!! did you all see the game last night?? The ROCKIES WIN to clinch the Wild Card slot for the NLD!!! that is AMAZING. I didn't get tickets to that game so i watched with bated breath while the game went to extra innings tied at 6/6. Until the Padres guy hit a home run bringing in a runner on second at the same time. They were leading by 2 though the whole half of the 13th inning until Troy Tulawitski got up to bat after Matzui got to second. He hit a double bringing in Matzui. Now we are only down by one when Matt Holiday takes to the plate. He swings at the first pitch to hit it on to the outfield wall and bounce it back it. The race was on to the plate after Troy ran in the tieing run. Holliday came accross and the Ump called him safe at home plate. The game is over and ROCKIES WIN!!!!
OI quickly went onto the Rockies website and got a Wild Card Rockies hat that all the ball players got at the end..
So, now we are in the post season and i am still trying to find a ticket to Saturdays game against the Phillies at Colorado!!
The town is on cloud nine!!!!
