Everything is coming to an end

Joan Rivers is the newest Celebrity Apprentice, The brother and sister team won the Amazing Race, (I was rooting for Margie and Luke!!) and In days we will know the fate of Coach and Taj and the others stuck on the survivor island.. very exciting..
I am looking forward to a few weeks of no TV that i feel i have to watch. All these shows start at once and end at once, that sometimes i feel hostage to the DVR night after night.
If you are a long time reader, than you know i am an avid baseball fan. Well this time of year there are a ton of games to watch, not to mention that your beloved Nuggets have made it into the finals for the NBA, and right now, being a Denver resident and an employee for Marc Cuban, i feel i have to watch his team get their asses handed to them.. Game five in the mile high!!! Lets see Cuban try to talk shit on our turf. Something tells me he wouldn't make it back to his private jet on one piece.
So, talking about the Nuggets. I do think it is funny how inked up all our players are. I mean putting them even next to the Dallas team, too funny.. I guess we might have better artists out here.. think that's it???

well it seems that spring has sprung in the mountain states.. It has been beautiful the last few days out here. WE are going to be flying back east for a few days, just in time to see some rain. perfect.

I missed snack yesterday. but i heard it was something like chili Fritos and Doritos etc... sounds pretty nasty to me.. I was plugging away, and when i looked up at the clock it was already 2:30. sorry if you are keeping score..
Well here are the things to tip a glass to for this fine Tuesday.

Tasmanian Devil Week begins today. More Tasmanian devils are born this week than any other week of the year.(not that you need to know this, but my dad always called me the Tasmanian Devil growing up, so i am taking this day as a celebration of me, thanks dad!!!....)

Today is National Nutty Fudge Day. (ohhhh, i hope there is a no-nut fudge day coming up soon)

Today is National Nonsense Day. (and i mean it)

Today is National Windmill Day. (It's big in Europe)

Today is Odometer Day. William Clayton invented the odometer on this date in 1847 as he crossed the U.S. plains in a covered wagon. (Dang it, mine has not worked in about three months, can i still celebrate it????)

1978: The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration announced it would alternate using men’s and women’s names for hurricanes. Previously, only women’s names had been used, and some complained it wasn’t fair that women got all the attention for causing damage and destruction.

1985: With 13 top ten pop hits, Lionel Richie received an honorary Doctor of Music degree from his alma mater, Tuskegee Institute in Alabama.

1989: Joe Valdez Caballero died at age 81. He invented the hard taco shell. (my personal hero)

1992: Thirty men and two women from nine nations reached the summit of Mount Everest, the most climbers to reach the peak in one day.

2003: Fifty-nine Democratic lawmakers brought the Texas House to a standstill by going into hiding in a dispute over a Republican congressional redistricting plan.

2003: Ten cows survived after falling down a 50-foot cliff in San Francisco. Witnesses saw the herd sliding over the cliff. Two cows had to be put down, but a vet said the others were not hurt.

have a great tuesday!!!
