03-oh four- owe ate....

Today is National Grammar Day, honoring language and its rules.
Today is March Forth, Do Something Day. Stop procrastinating.
Today is National Poundcake Day. (oh yeah, like i need a reason to eat poundcake)
Today is Courageous Follower Day, a day to appreciate good followers (Nothing like a good follower to make us leaders feel important)

For the history buffs (my dear sister)
Today is Old Inauguration Day. The first U.S. president, George Washington, was inaugurated on March 4, 1789. Until the Twentieth Amendment, ratified in 1933, changed the date of the Presidential Inauguration to January 20th, every American president was inaugurated on this date.
1793: At the inauguration for his second term, President George Washington delivered the briefest inaugural address ever — 133 words.
1849: David Atchison became President of the U.S. for one day when Zachary Taylor refused to be sworn in on a Sunday.
1924: The song "Happy Birthday to You" was published. (and everytime you hear it on TV, someone had to pay to use it.)

Q: Research shows that men who hug and kiss their wives before going to work each morning: (a) make more wrong turns on the way to work; (b) live five years longer; or (c) get fewer speeding tickets?
A: Live an average of five years longer than men who don’t kiss their wives goodbye. Kissers also earn 30% more and have fewer auto accidents (Let Me See Your Body Talk, by Jan Hargrave).

Snack for the day, Scoop your own ice cream (or floats)...
Did you learn something?? I hope so.
have a great Wednesday and go do something!!!!
I will be watching Big Brother.. :) does that count?

Forgetting to hug and kiss your wife does more than shorten your life span.
