OK, so WTF????
of course the servers failed...
I wish they would have talked to a music company or a national touring band on how to sell thousands of tickets on line and see how to see them without the servers failing.. UNBELIEVABLE!!!! i have seen more than 18,000 tickets on sale and gone in less than 20 minutes, why can't they sell them the same way though MLB??? and yeah only 18,000 tickets to be had by fans in a baseball stadium that holds roughly 60,000 people. Well they say that over 32,000 tickets are going to season ticket holders, players and sponsors. Boy i wish i knew a player now...:)
So, they have just announced that tickets are not being sold right now. That only a few hundred were able to be sold today and they will let us know when they are going to resume ticket sales.
I wonder how many people waisted their work day hitting refresh like i have :)

That is horrible. There should be some way of keeping scalpers out of the mix somehow. Hope you get one. How much are season tickets for next year? Maybe you should look into that. Add up how much you have spent this year on tickets and see if it is worth it or not. Even though it is one lump sum it would still be worth it to know that you can go to every game.
